Song written by Ryan Maurice Roemer (17 years old) in spring 1996.
I’m reliving and re-examining my teenage years through some old love songs.
Originally the title of this song was ‘Kiss of death’, but I thought that sounded too cruel, so that’s why I decided a few years ago to change the title to ‘Kiss of life’.
The funny thing is that I wrote this love song when I still had very little experience with intimate kisses. It was all just imagination based on what I had seen in movies and soap operas. I was a wallflower. I didn’t even like French kissing. Honestly, I still don’t like it.
